SPRINGFIELD — State Senator Steve Landek (D-Bridgeview) met with Brenda Rodriguez of Berwyn and advocates with the Illinois Stewardship Alliance on April 10. They were advocating for the Healthy Local Food Incentives Fund, which provides funding to allow SNAP beneficiaries to access fresh fruits and vegetables sold at local farmers markets.
